Reidsville over Anson 89-45 in 2nd Rd.

Look, there's no sugarcoating this one. The Reidsville Rams walked into their second-round playoff matchup against the Anson Bearcats on Thursday night and did what a team riding a 17-game win streak does — they made it 17 in a row without breaking a sweat. Final score: 89-45. That's not a typo. That's a beatdown with a bow on it. The Rams led 55-29 at the half, which means Reidsville essentially played a full competitive game in two quarters and then ran garbage time drills for the second half. Anson never had an answer.

Basketball

NC A&T Aggies 79, Hofstra 78

NC A&T was winless in CAA play, losers of six straight, and down 13 at the half against a Hofstra team with wins over Pitt and Syracuse. The Pride shot 53% and went 10-for-17 from three in the first half. Cruz Davis had 20 before the break. Jaeden Roberts was 5-of-6 from deep off the bench. Hofstra didn't turn the ball over once in the first 20 minutes.
