Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Friday Night Film Room ("FNFR", "the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts. Coaches must complete a verification process before accessing certain features like ScoreSnap.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create on the Service, including community posts, highlight videos, and game submissions. By posting content, you grant FNFR a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the Service.

You agree not to post content that:

  • Is defamatory, harassing, or threatening
  • Violates the privacy or rights of others
  • Contains spam or commercial solicitations
  • Is sexually explicit or gratuitously violent
  • Impersonates another person or entity
  • Violates any applicable law

4. Coach & Player Profiles

Coach profiles and player recruiting profiles are public-facing and may be viewed by anyone. You are responsible for the accuracy of information in your profile. FNFR does not verify the accuracy of coaching records, player statistics, or college offers listed by users.

5. ScoreSnap & Game Data

ScoreSnap uses AI to extract game data from scoreboard photos. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming the accuracy of AI-extracted data before submission. Game records submitted through ScoreSnap become part of the public record on FNFR.

6. Community Guidelines

Community discussions must remain respectful and relevant to North Carolina sports. FNFR reserves the right to remove content and ban users who repeatedly violate community guidelines. Moderator decisions are final.

7. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us. Account deletion will remove your profile and personal data. Content you have published (game records, community posts, articles) may be retained in an anonymized form.

8. Intellectual Property

The FNFR name, logo, design, and editorial content are the property of Friday Night Film Room. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

FNFR is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, service interruptions, or inaccuracies in AI-extracted game data.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
