It started with a simple premise: North Carolina sports deserve more than box scores and wire copy. From the beer-soaked sidelines of a Greensboro men's lacrosse league to the film rooms of college programs chasing ACC glory, real stories were going untold — and somebody needed a press credential and a deadline to tell them.
